Diversity is our Strength

We believe that Women's Rights are Human Rights. Here are our core values.
We believe that Women’s Rights are Human Rights and Human Rights are Women’s Rights. This is the basic and original tenet for which we unite for the Women's March ATX.
We believe Civil Rights are a hard fought legacy that requires defending. We vow to protect and expand all freedoms outlined in our U.S. Constitution, including freedom of speech, voting rights, freedom to worship and protections for all citizens regardless of race, gender, sex, age or disability. We honor and respect tribal laws and jurisdictions.
Women have the right to live free from violence. We believe that gun violence is a women’s issue and support universal background checks and red flag laws to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and dangerous individuals.
We believe in Reproductive Freedom. We support full access to quality reproductive healthcare and services and medically accurate sexuality education.
We that LGBTQIA Rights are Human Rights. This includes access to healthcare and full protections under the law.
We believe in equal pay for equal work. We support paid family leave, access to affordable childcare, sick days, healthcare, vacation time, and safe work environments. We support workers having the right to unionize to fight for a living minimum wage.
We support an all-inclusive Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, as the current Constitution does not specifically guarantee equal rights to 50% of our country’s population.
We believe in immigrant and refugee rights. Basic decency dictates that we must keep families together and work to provide comprehensive immigration reform so that immigrants can co-exist legally within our society.
We believe that climate change is real; that every person deserves access to clean water and air and that our natural resources must be protected.
If you believe in these principles too, please click the link below to help support the Women's March ATX. Thank you!
